![]() News from Ian Bruce Photography Dear [firstname, fallback=subscriber] Isn't the sunlight at this time of year fantastic? If you're not up in time to see the sunrise, take a moment to catch a sunset and see nature's bounty. As a photographer I always work inventively with light, both natural and synthetic and this is a superb time to give an added lighting bonus to your work. See below for prizes worth £120. |

The ordinary becomes extraordinary This is a great example of nature and Ian Bruce Photography working hand in hand. I've used the autumn sunlight to enhance this view of a condensed construction site for a property developer. The phrase of "dancing the light fantastic" comes to mind..! |

In at the deep end The architect of a stylish new leisure complex in Merseyside sought to incorporate symmetry, space and reflections in his work - and so they're incorporated in mine. This view not only achieved a powerful aesthetic effect, it was also a useful way round the legal restrictions with people and swimming pools. Drop me in at the deep end and I'll still come up smiling. |

Win one or even two £60 prizes Can you identify the object in the bottom right of this picture? It's an excellent example of how effectively I use angles, lighting and pattern. And the high end, specialist digital kit I use means that this same image has easily been enlarged to 3 metres for an exhibition stand. If you can identify the object in the bottom right of this picture, send your answer today in an Email to clickon@ianbrucephoto.com. The prize will be a free hour's professional retouching of one of your images, worth £60. The winner will be drawn early November. For an additional prize for the same retouching offer, tell me where you think the actual venue is. The closing date is 07 November 2008. (NB The commissioning architect cannot apply!) |
